About Us
Our Story
Pencil Kids Academy, established on February 11, 2019, we are dedicated to providing trustworthy and valuable educational experiences. We began by specializing in handwriting, phonics, and English grammar, starting with just two students. Within a year, we expanded to train 320 students. During the COVID-19 lockdown, we adapted to online platforms, reaching numerous children, parents, teachers, and housewives to ensure uninterrupted learning.
In 2021, our institute experienced significant growth, leading us to offer training and short-term workshops in areas such as fundamental grammar, public speaking, creative writing, and personality development.
In 2022, we launched a new venture, Pencil Kids Preschool, starting with three students and now educating over 200 students through offline classes.
Our current mission is to extend our online programs to housewives, parents, teachers, and professionals interested in working from home. We aim to build a sustainable society with strong reading and writing skills.

I am Shalini Gomedhagavel, a proud woman from an agricultural family and a basic medium school background. With over 18 years of experience across various roles—including Customer Care, Technical Manager, Operations Manager, HR Manager, and Soft Skills Trainer—I am committed to empowering individuals- Housewives, Teachers, college students or any professionals to achieve self-employment and assisting children in enhancing their speaking, reading, and writing skills.

In today's world, proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is essential for effective communication and success. While AI technologies can assist with language tasks, But they cannot replace the foundational knowledge and skills that humans possess. AI can be a valuable tool, it cannot replace the human touch in language understanding and communication. At least, you require knowledge to use proper words to prompt in the chat, so beware any machine can't complete its job without any human interference.
